Terms & conditions and house rules

These rules are intended to offer all guests a safe, pleasant and respectful stay. By entering the grounds, you agree to the provisions below.

1. Arrival & departure

  • On arrival, everyone must check in at reception. The operator assigns the pitch.
  • Pitches must be vacated before 12.00 noon and cabins before 11.00 am.
  • Late check-out is only possible with prior permission.
  • Overnight stays by third parties are only allowed with permission (additional costs may apply).

2. Payments

  • Payment: all costs are due on the due date.
  • In case of non-payment, legal steps may follow and access may be restricted.
  • No refund is possible in case of early departure.
  • The pitch includes 1 camping unit (caravan, motorhome, tent). Extra tents or additional units are assessed on site (a surcharge may apply).
  • Rates may be adjusted during the season. Price changes are communicated via the website, by email, or at reception.
  • Errors or mistakes in rates on the website or in communications are not binding and may be corrected.
  • Unpaid amounts are increased with administration and collection costs; access may be refused on the basis of outstanding amounts.

3. Cancellation

  • Cancellation of a pitch must always be made in writing.
  • Costs: more than 20 days before arrival: €15 administration fee; 20 to 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay amount; less than 8 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total stay amount.

4. Seasonal guests & caravans

  • The seasonal pitch fee is due for the entire contract period. In case of early departure, the full seasonal fee remains payable.
  • Caravans must be removed at the end of the contract; storage fees apply according to current rates if left behind.
  • The camper is responsible for the insurance, maintenance and safety of their caravan.
  • Electricity is billed according to the meter reading and flat rate.
  • Any sale/transfer must be reported to the operator in advance, in connection with the correct allocation of pitches.
  • Awnings are erected/dismantled as instructed by the operator. Permanent residence is prohibited.

5. Structures & pitch management

  • Permanent structures are only allowed with written permission.
  • Caravans must be positioned according to height and the operator's instructions. Planting fixed vegetation is prohibited.
  • Maintaining the pitch (grass, cleanliness) is mandatory.
  • It is prohibited to store materials, rubble, stones, metal, waste, wood, etc. on the pitch or under the caravan.
  • Terraces must be fully removable and may not protrude more than 10 cm above ground level.

6. Rental accommodations

  • On departure: swept clean, rubbish removed, dishes washed, fridge empty and clean, windows closed.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited. In the event of a breach, damage or missing inventory: (cleaning) costs are charged to the tenant and deducted from the deposit.
  • The maximum occupancy must be strictly observed.

7. Vehicles & traffic

  • Speed: max. 10 km/h. Roads must remain clear at all times. Parking only in the designated areas.
  • Extra vehicles or visitor cars are only allowed with permission (a surcharge may apply).
  • Motorised traffic is kept to a minimum between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am.
  • Washing vehicles is not permitted.
  • Maximum 1 vehicle per pitch, unless otherwise authorised. Vehicles only on one's own pitch, not on neighbouring plots.
  • The campsite does not have additional capacity to store trailers.

8. Peace & quiet

  • Quiet hours between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am.
  • Noise must not cause any nuisance. Bass sounds are not permitted. Parties are only allowed with prior permission.

9. Dogs & pets

  • Dogs must always be kept on a leash and remain on one's own pitch (not on neighbouring plots; the leash must be sufficiently short).
  • Nuisance is prohibited (including excessive barking, aggression, etc.).
  • Owners must always carry cleaning materials with them.
  • Dogs are not allowed in the main building or the sanitary facilities.

10. Waste & cleanliness

  • Waste must be placed in the correct containers.
  • Dumping waste, oil, chemical products or wastewater outside the designated areas is prohibited.
  • Seasonal guests and passers-through may use the recycling centre free of charge.

11. Gas, electricity & fire safety

  • Max. 2 gas bottles per pitch, placed upright and correctly connected. Gas hoses must be within their expiry date and fitted with clamps.
  • Heating appliances without proper venting are prohibited. The operator may refuse unsafe installations.
  • Barbecuing: minimum 2 m distance from tents, caravans, trees and flammable material; only sturdy barbecues raised more than 20 cm above the ground; no firelighter fluids; an extinguishing agent must be present; the fire must be put out on departure. A ban may apply in dry or windy conditions.
  • All forms of fire, open flames and heat sources are prohibited, unless with express permission.

12. Sanitary facilities

  • Please keep the sanitary facilities clean and tidy.
  • Chemical toilets must be emptied at the designated spot.
  • Washing dishes or clothes/animals in the sanitary facilities is prohibited.

13. Liability

  • The campsite is not liable for theft, natural damage or damage caused by third parties.
  • Campers must have their own insurance. Damage to the campsite's infrastructure will be recovered from the person responsible.
  • Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervision and safety at all times.

14. Recreation & facilities

  • Use of the play equipment takes place under parental supervision.
  • The campsite is not liable for any accidents.
  • Swimming or playing in the river is entirely at one's own risk.
  • Parents must accompany their children at the water's edge at all times.

15. Images & video surveillance

  • Security cameras may be present.
  • Atmosphere photos for promotional purposes may be taken; anyone who does not wish to be recognisable should inform reception.

16. Emergency procedure

  • In the event of an alarm, everyone must follow the procedure: stay calm.
  • Switch off the energy source if possible. Notify the emergency services (112).
  • Follow the evacuation instructions and go to the assembly point.
  • The first-aid post is located at reception.

17. Changes, applicable law & privacy

  • Changes are posted on notice boards. Complaints should be made at reception.
  • Belgian law applies in the event of disputes.
  • Personal data is processed for reservation management, invoicing and safety.
  • In the event of a breach, the operator may take measures (warning, termination of the stay, refusal of access, without right to a refund).
  • The operator reserves the right to refuse or remove guests.
